This allows us to generate value and maintain competitive costs for our customers and business partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of recent years,&nbsp;fluctuations&nbsp;in the price of fuel have had a significant impact on the transportation industry. Because of&nbsp;this and&nbsp;the&nbsp;expected variability&nbsp;in prices&nbsp;going forward, we have had to include a Fuel&nbsp;Surcharge&nbsp;in our quotes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;surcharge&nbsp;is&nbsp;variable and subject to&nbsp;market&nbsp;fluctuations in fuel prices. Depending on fuel price movements in the month prior to the shipment, the percentage added as the Fuel Surcharge may rise, fall or remain the same.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Fuel&nbsp;Surcharge&nbsp;has been&nbsp;applicable&nbsp;since&nbsp;May 15, 2017 and&nbsp;is&nbsp;based on the average price&nbsp;of&nbsp;diesel&nbsp;in&nbsp;the month&nbsp;prior to shipping.
